FAQs

Below are some usual FAQ's that Qld Concrete Drilling and Sawing have been asked. For any further information, please contact us directly contact us on (07) 3274 3803 or use the Enquiry form.

  • Do we do small projects?

No project is too small. We quite often get calls for just one core hole, or a quick cut to fix a gutter on a customer’s driveway.

  • Do you provide free quotes/how much will it cost?

There is no charge to provide quotes for customers. We would recommend a site visit to give you an accurate estimate of works to be done. If a site visit is not possible our customers can also send in photos.

  • How can we pay?

For first time customers it is pay on completion by; cash, cheque or credit card. EFT is only for established clients. If you require an account, please submit a Credit Application, the form will be found on our Forms page.

  • Do we travel outside of Brisbane or the Gold Coast areas?

Yes. We do work further than just Brisbane and the surrounding areas and we can travel. However, it may incur additional travel fees as we have to cover the operators costs outside of metro Brisbane. Please call us at any time to discuss fees regarding travel.

  • Do we work on weekends/nights?

QCDS is a 24 hour, 7 day a week business. We will work according to your project plans and timeframes.

  • Is it messy?

Yes, concrete cutting is a messy job, all our operators are experienced in reducing this problem. We have several options available and they will advise you of the best one for the task.

  • Is it noisy?

The noise levels related to concrete cutting and drilling can be quite high at times. We do our best to work around noise restrictions or noise exclusion periods with customers.

  • Can we provide Safe Work Method Statements (S.W.M.S)?

We can provide full sets of S.W.M.S on request.

S.W.M.S are a requirement for larger construction sites and we will provide site specific documents as needed. We are happy to work with the safety officers for any special requirements they may have.

  • Does our GPR Scanner show electrical wires on the scans?

Although we can see where wires are running we can't identify specific electrical wires. We generally use our GPR Scanner for Post tension cables and reinforcement steel and we can also see voids such as pipes for plumbing. This helps us to cut safely and avoid any hazards that will compromise the integrity of the building structure during the cutting process.
